Where it begins

It starts with a full diagnostic

Before we teach, we find exactly where marks are being lost against the specification your child sits. The plan for the year comes from that, not from a generic scheme.

  • Every topic marked secure, losing marks or gap
  • A priority order for the year, shared with you in writing
  • Repeated each term so the plan keeps up with your child

What is Exceed Tutoring?
Exceed Tutoring is an independent online tuition provider offering structured teaching and learning support. We work one-to-one with GCSE and A-Level students, home-educated students, students with SEND and young athletes, and every plan includes our own learning platform, Exceed Learn.
Who are Exceed's lessons for?
Students from Key Stage 3 to A-Level who want structured, consistent support: exam preparation, catching up, home education, additional needs, or fitting study around serious sport.
Which subjects do your tutors cover?
Maths, Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language and English Literature at GCSE, plus A-Level Maths and Sciences, with History and Geography by arrangement. Exceed Learn covers AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC and Cambridge specifications.
Do you support home-educated students and students with SEND?
Yes. For home education, Exceed plans the subject teaching, sets and marks the work and reviews progress while the parent supports the routine; exam entries and centre fees are separate. For SEND we match tutors with relevant experience and adjust pace, session length and materials, where we can safely and appropriately meet the student's needs.
How can I book a lesson?
Book a free academic review with the button above. You'll speak to a consultant, we'll run a diagnostic and match a tutor, and if you'd like to go ahead we'll send a secure Stripe checkout link for your chosen plan.
How much does tutoring cost?
Plans are billed monthly and include Exceed Learn. One hour a week is £172 a month (£43 an hour); the hourly rate falls as hours increase, down to £38 an hour at six hours a week. A single 30-minute session a week is £86 a month. There is no joining fee and no fixed term.
