How should we prepare for the call? +

Have any recent grades or mock results to hand, and think about which days and times suit for lessons. It helps to have your child on the call, and anyone else involved in the decision. In 30 minutes we’ll show you where your child is, the plan to move them forward and the cost, so you can decide there and then.

What happens if we want to go ahead? +

We set everything up on the call: choose the plan, confirm lesson times and book your child’s first session within the next 24–48 hours. Tutor times are allocated as families enrol, so starting sooner gives you the most choice.

How do you make sure the tutor is a good fit? +

We match your child with a specialist in their exact subject, exam board and level, and take their personality and learning style into account.

Can support be tailored for SEND? +

Yes. Tell us about your child’s needs on the call and we’ll match them with a tutor who has relevant experience, adapting the pace, structure and communication to suit them. We’ll always be honest about what we can support well.

Are lessons recorded, and who can see them? +

Lessons are recorded so you and your child can rewatch them in Exceed Prep. Only your child, you, their tutor and Exceed can view them, and they’re deleted after 30 days. You can switch recording off at any time. See our privacy notice.

Will my child reach a particular grade? +

No honest tutor can guarantee a grade, and we won’t. What we can promise is that nothing is left to chance. We find exactly where your child is losing marks, close those gaps one by one with the same specialist every week, and show you the progress in writing after every lesson.
